Porcha Channelle Clemons, known to friends and family as the “go getter” is a 32 year old Flint native. It was obvious early in life that Porcha was destined to perform. She began her dance training in 2007 under the instruction of Sheila Miller- Graham at Creative Expression Dance Studio and has been dancing for 12 years. She has a background in Performing/Media Arts, as well as a dancer/performer.

In 2012 an opportunity arose for her to be a part of the Detroit Mechanix Dancers and Detroit Pride Cheerleaders. There she was elected as Ambassador and spokesmodel for events, including Detroit Lions Games and charity events.

With many struggles and odds stacked against her, in 2014 Porcha decided she wanted more for herself so she rededicated her life to Christ. With a new outlook on life she began to see the blessings of God being manifested in her life. While living in the increase and His divine plan for her life, she was presented with many opportunities to minister in dance with multiple gospel artists on a national level.

In 2015 Porcha founded Heart of Worship Dance Studio. Her goal for Heart of Worship Dance Studio is to bring people together through dance in a positive atmosphere. With high expectations, this environment will assist in rebuilding the youth of Flint and surrounding areas by reinforcing motivation, inspiring, and creating opportunity through self-expression of dance. Porcha’s most recent endeavors includes training with world renowned dancer and actress Debbie Allen.
